KEN-LOK: The standard for airtightness
In the installation sector, our KEN-LOK fittings are the standard for airtightness, ease of installation and time savings. The comprehensive KEN-LOK range, which includes bends, reducers, dampers and T-pieces, is available from Ø80 mm to Ø630 mm.
Better than the standard
KEN-LOK uses a double-lipped rubber seal on the coupling ends of in the fittings. The double-lipped rubber seal is affixed using the “Soft-Edge” technology. Our circular metal KEN-LOK fittings are durable and dimensionally stable, standardised and ETIM classified.
Air duct systems made using KEN-LOK fittings have airtightness class ATC2. This is one level higher than the NEN EN 1506 and 12237 quality standard. The rubber seal on the fittings result in demonstrably less air leakage. This makes the system more energy efficient, cleaner, quieter and far more durable than conventional methods that still require the use of tape.
A ventilation system with a circular design is less susceptible to pollution and clogging because the airflow moves at virtually the same speed across the entire width of the round ducts. This leads to less air resistance. That, in turn, results in a lower air speed, less noise and no draught. In other words: a more comfortable interior climate.
Installation without tape
The unique KEN-LOK rubber seal ensures that the ducts and fittings are easy to position and that adjustments can be made during installation. You do not need tape: the rubber seals and parkers are sufficient.
